In which Jelaza Kazone has visitors.

Took them long enough to get here; it’s been ten chapters since the Commander of Agents decided to send them. Although, of course, some of those were quite short chapters, and also it’s difficult to tell how much time is actually passing between the chapters that aren’t taking place on Lytaxin.

I believe this is the first time in published order that Jeeves’s military past has been mentioned; previously it was implied that Shan and Val Con built him from scratch. His observation about being practiced in an art of survival without necessarily enjoying it applies to a lot of people in this novel, it occurs to me.
