The part I like about this chapter is the character interactions: Yulie’s way of showing concern, and Memit’s hunt, and Droi pondering her place in the kompani.
I always like the cats. 😉 But in this chapter, it was Droi’s recognition of her need to moderate her responses and look for ways to heal the relationship damages leftover from Black Droi that I found very gratifying.
